Armed Robbery

York Regional Police K-9 and Emercency Response Unit officers enter garage of Savage Road home in search of a suspect following an armed robbery of a nearby Tim Hortons restaurant in Newmarket. A teen home alone heard noises in the house and called 911. He was rescued from an upstairs bathroom window. No suspects were found in the house but two people were later arrested for the robbery.
