Burning Beetle

Brooklyn resident Ron Stevenson was hearing sputtering noises from the engine of his 1974 Super Beetle on his way home from playing golf in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia Aug. 20. The classic car was engulfed in flames soon after he arrived at his Brooklyn Road home. Nearby Middleton Fire Dept. crews responded to douse the fire with foam and water.
